ABOUT JULIAN BAILEY

If I had to describe myself in three words, I would say Kind, Curious, and Determined. I am a very outdoorsy guy, loving mountain biking, rock climbing, sports, and discovering nature. I'm also a guitarist/singer songwriter, coming up with original coast music with my band. I have had experience in babysitting and running Camp Linwood, as well as my first aid certificate. I’m looking forward to having a fantastic summer here in Roberts creek and hoping that Camp Linwood will be a big part of that. If you guys have fun then I'm having fun.

WHY I STARTED CAMP LINWOOD

I started Camp Linwood as a chance to follow one of my lifelong dreams. Creating the kind of summer camp that I remembered so fondly of as a child. I consider myself very lucky to have achieved that goal at the young age of 16, and even more lucky that the first ever Camp Linwood came as such a resounding success. My goal for this year is to further improve myself as a camp leader and to try my best to give every camper an amazing experience worth remembering.

One of my favorite parts for the camp is around the fact that even though there was a schedule, they let us vote and decide on what we would do.  This was a very fun camp full of great athletic activities, kind people and fun times.  Though this camp may seem like it was just fun and games, I have to say it also worked my brain power.  With the young guys running the camp, it made it more enjoyable because they could understand my "slang" and things I am interested in at my age.  The Hike was one of if not the most enjoyable parts of this camp.
